In early 2010, I discovered Edgar Cayce and his use of what was called the Akashic Records. I spent almost an entire month reading and searching the transcribed archives of his readings to learn more about the Akashic Records. I was completely fascinated by his readings and work with the Akashic Records, yet I also realized that he had passed away in 1945.
I found Cheryl Trine’s website and book and I was able to read portions of her book on Amazon. I wanted an Akashic Record reading and I figured this was the way I was going to do it. Before having an Akashic Record reading with Cheryl, I had never done anything remotely close to this.
Five minutes into the reading I knew the information was coming from a higher place. How did she know these things? I hadn’t told her any of this. Why did everything make so much sense? She knew little about me. Why did I feel completely different at the end of the reading?
That reading changed my life. I was able to let go of things that I had held onto for no reason after that reading. I now understood why things had happened to me in my life. I also understood my relationships with people in my life much better. The best part of all was I could now see my path.

Here’s how an Akashic Record Reading works:
• You make an appointment with Cheryl at a time that is convenient with you. Appointment times are usually one hour in length, but anything from 30 minutes to several hours is available.
• Cheryl will send you an email confirmation along with tips on how to prepare for your Reading.
• Before your Reading, you think about what you want to know and if there is anything you want to let go. You may write down questions or topics if that feels right.
• At the time of your appointment, Cheryl calls you by phone or by Skype (or if you are in Portland, OR you can come in person).
• Cheryl opens your Akashic Record and you ask your questions. Transmitting the response of your Akashic Records, Cheryl relays everything as fully and completely as she can. Like a conversation with a friend, you can ask follow up questions and ask for clarity and more details.
• Cheryl will also record your Reading and send you either a CD or an mp3 file depending on your preference.
How do I know when I should ask for an Akashic Record Reading?
It’s time when you have questions or issues that you feel a strong need to resolve. It can also be time when you realize that something has been bothering you for a while and you just recently noticed or felt the need to let it go. Sometimes the feeling to know is really strong and leads you toward seeking support and guidance. Sometimes it is realizing that you have been stuck in the same place for too long. Check in with yourself and ask, “Is now the time for an Akashic Record Reading with Cheryl?” Trust your answer.
How often do I need to ask for an Akashic Record Reading?
Generally, most folks find once every six to twelve months to be plenty. However, when you are in the midst of a crisis, or in the middle of releasing deep trauma or old patterns, you will probably find the need for a Reading more often, though usually not more than once every 30 days.
Is healing possible in an Akashic Record Reading?
Yes. The Akashic Records exists within the pure potential of All That Is. When your conscious awareness is connected with pure potential (as it is in a Reading), your energy shifts into equilibrium with this pure potential. This shift is experienced as change and balance. You may feel this shift as healing because that is what healing is: a shift into the awareness of the divine balance that always is.
